Dark realities and more

"Half the world is starving, the other half is trying to lose weight."

When the day begins on a pleasant note, but you knew that that won't stay for long, as nothing does

"To understand is to perceive patterns..."

There's that weight you carry inside of you, until you don't say it out loud or take it out just by sharing silence...
The other person has to have the perspicacity and power to reason, to know that you just need the silence to be shared for a while and the aggressive emotion will go away.. Because when you're the emotional one and start to get angry even when you've just missed someone a little too much, and although you're usually pretty good at conveying your thoughts, this one time you don't want to and want the other person to just get it.. But of course people don't always infer what you expect them to.. That only happens sometimes.. The rest of the times you probably just get lucky

Interacting with kids will always remain one of the greatest ways to learn something new!

Awaaz badha ne se, baat sahi nahi ho jaati!
(You don't become right by raising your volume!)

When movies like Udta Punjab are released in the Indian cinema...
Not only do you get to hear about controversies, you suddenly become more aware of the degree of the problem existing in that state! The people living in the state are far from the purpose of life and are in an existential crisis it seems. A dark movie with strong messages indeed. Excellent acting by the cast.

Why can't people live by the mantra that people who have a lot lesser than them are happier than they've ever been?

"Hold on to every genuine person you find. This generation has people driven by ego, money and status. As a result good souls are ruined daily. Keep your head up and be conscious of the energy you give out and connect with."

When you're in the middle of writing a post, and the lady who's the caretaker (apparently they're addressed as jaapa in Hindi) of your nephew, starts to share a bit more about her life... and you have your mouth open when she says she was married off to a forty year old man when she was twelve! She had her first child when she was just sixteen! And she's my age right now. She sounded happy that she was married off to him because he didn't take dowry!
You go back to realising how people think, and how their lives have been, and how each of them are going through unimaginable situations...
which is exactly why I absolutely dislike people who are not thankful, in our wonderful (whose definition of modern is probably less/westernised clothes and not thoughts) society!

People whining about trivial things and going on about it, always
COME ON. Look around for heaven's sake!
Such humans don't know the value of other humans and don't want to either.

"I have never understood why people go out of their way to put others down. Be a good person, it isn't that effing hard."

A number of people have died crossing the Mediterranean Sea in 2016
There are people who died in Orlando
The terrorist attacks are never ending ... all in the name of I don't know what!
There are rapes happening every minute in different parts of the world
There are people misbehaving
Some losing themselves whilst attempting to prove themselves to others
Some continue to live in their big bubbles where everything is flowery and nice
It makes you want to tell everyone around you, to just continue to be thankful!

The level of complexity in our bodies..
I'd blame the hormones for all the unexpected mood swings too!
The female body's behaviour and its relationship with one's age ~ something men must give thought to as well!

People will hurt you... time and again
yes, the same ones whom you gathered the courage to trust again
What are you going to do about it?
Don't let it break you!

"There are more fruits in a rich man's shampoo than in a poor man's plate."

We all have a tendency to surprise ourselves, we just have to want to test our abilities in the right direction to that extent
Things happen, life has better plans for us sometimes
We just got to take it all one day at a time
The choices you make, some of them might turn out to be harder than you'd thought
But regret never fixes anything
You just got to deal with it the best way possible

"A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?"
#Marley&Me

If someone ever tells you to change yourself, stay away from that person
Why should you change just because you're sensitive and let things get to you fast?
You are who you are for a reason

When you're too tired of explaining yourself, of keeping up, of controlling your tears.. that you just want to give up.. You don't know where to draw the strength from
The part that's the worst throughout the above is that the people pulling you down are the ones you never thought would be the ones!

No one's guidance or advice is going to help with regard to knowing how to be the right one in a marriage, or how to be a parent, because no one is going to tell you time and again that it's going to be hard, and that everyone has a very unique experience of their own
No body prepares you for the hardest jobs in the world ~ managing relationships
While you're overwhelmed and unable to take it, you react in ways that damage them too much
What you may have to give up during that journey/phase of life is also going to come as a surprise
There'll be moments when it wouldn't feel like you made the right choice, or that it wasn't worth it
Just ensure that you have the right people in your life telling you the right things, things you needed to hear for the reassurance that was needed.. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.. You and your closest friend know how you may have coped with it all..

All these love stories they show in movies
Never believe them
Because you'll only be a big fool to think that's ever possible in reality
You'll get hurt, you'll have arguments even after all your attempts to rationalise
No matter what you do, how much ever you go out of your way for someone, at some point you'll be put down
That's how humans are, the messed up species

It's true when they say that if you're not losing friends, you aren't growing up.

There are those who don't consider themselves worthy of things and deserve the world, and then there are those who haven't done shit to deserve what they've been blessed with, but have much more than needed, let alone deserve. This is exactly where destiny and past life's good karma play their role.

There is a post due specifically on marriage and experiences attending weddings from different cultures :)

The world is a dangerous place when there are more people who want to prove wrong than right.

This post had been in drafts for way too long!

Depends on whether you're looking for meaning or not ~

"Do not listen with the intent to reply,
but with the intent to understand."

Why do we bargain with the people earning the least in our country?
I just don't get it.
You're willing to pay a big amount at a branded store, being well aware that the price isn't worth the product... but you will still continue to tell the vegetable/fruit vendor and rickshaw driver to charge you five rupees less.

A painkiller for an adult is like a toy to a crying baby #simile
The pain hasn't gone anywhere but your brain's been informed that it has apparently; the child's hiccups are still making him/her uneasy, but the sound and movement of the toy gets his/her mind off it and works pretty well as a distraction!

Introverts are introverts for a reason and they should never be forced to speak/share too much..
Because they are who they are for a reason!
It's just so sad that our hypocritical society isn't accepting of that nature
Why is everyone constantly stuck on attempting to change one another?
Why? Live and let live?

"It takes years as a woman to unlearn what you have been taught to be sorry for."

I am a firm believer of the fact that karma will find its way back to you (!)

"You can't change someone who doesn't see an issue in their actions."

One amongst many making a mountain out of a molehill about pretty much every thing
Sad emotions are okay around you as long as you're in your bubble
Zero empathy, let alone compassion
Money servants money servants money servants
~ stories of some...

I personally don't even like the term 'servant'
I mean, no one is your slave, so stop treating someone like one!
But ofcourse in our country, they wouldn't say domestic help/helpers... just like they don't say homemaker and instead choose to say housewife

Why is it that people don't give enough attention to the words being used by them!?

A child's thoughts must always be cultivated in the right manner
Of course, the 'right' depends on the parent defining it for the child

"I stopped explaining myself when I realised that people only understand from their level of perception."

In life, you'll come across all sorts of challenges...
Depends on you what you're willing to put at stake for each of them.
The journey will take you places
It'll make you say why me?
How hard is it to let it be and let one be and not hurt that person by saying something you already have, again and again?
Oh it hurts me sometimes to see how people behave with their siblings and children

You meet people, you judge them, you make rigid decisions
Is that how it's supposed to be?
Ofcourse not!

But if there's anything I've learned lately, it's that, whoever is not empathetic will never feel the pain. They are just like that. Detached and insensitive.

"There is something hugely civilised about allowing long pauses in a conversation. Very few people can stand that kind of silence."

The society we live in ~
No matter how the people are in a family, there is always differentiation done between siblings, between a son and a daughter
It amazes me how human beings are still unaware of karma's role in life

It's just so sad that the essence of life is lost around
Not many care about what is to be cared about
People just want to talk about people
It's all become about storing everything in your phone's gallery and not going back to see it
Gut feelings aren't believed by most of us
You're called crazy if you want to follow your heart, because ofcourse money and servants should be the ultimate goal
It's tragic to see most thoughts only going in this direction

"Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding. The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self kind of understanding."
- Bill Bullard

Financial independence isn't a concept that is encouraged
But finding a rich husband is more than welcome!

People marry for money and they also believe and think that everyone else must do the same!

"Confidence must be monitored so that it does not spoil or rot and turn to arrogance."

The magic is in the mess

"It is an ancient need to be told stories. But the story needs a great storyteller." - Alan Rickman
#Always

It's one thing to have priorities clear,
it's another to know how different yours are from the selfless people

I consider myself fortunate that I've had the opportunity to meet some fantastic people in my life so far already
You have to be brutally honest only with those who understand honesty!
You have to colour your words with the rest.
- said to me by a very wise fifty-six-year-old independent woman living life on her own terms :)

Look around! Learn a little (even when there is a lot to) from those who're doing it without what you have! Seriously!

When you attend one of the simplest weddings ever
No showoff culture equals no punjabis criticising the food/arrangements/clothes/people's dress sense and more
When there really was so much happiness in the air that one could sense the good vibe with smiling faces all around you
Love marriages are always about struggle, aren't they?
This one could've helped an individual grow one's faith exceptionally though

The definition of travelling is so messed up in our culture/society
Staying in the five star hotels and eating food from restaurants present all across the world
Really? What did you learn? That it's all the same everywhere?
You could do that in your own city and not look outside the window of the hotel room. Haha!
[It's like someone gifting you an electronic gadget on a particular occasion, and in your head you're like; it could've been bought at any point of time after saving up enough; you didn't manufacture it, did you? So what was your (not the money's) effort in it? Yes, I'm weird.]
We don't know our own country well but we love to comment on it every now and then
Trying the local cuisines, using the public transport, exploring an area, that's what it's supposed to be all about!

And,
I have to mention this;
My friend, who is now a mother to a nine months old,
inspires me with her take on motherhood!
She is a rare example in this generation for those of us who haven't walked on her path yet.
And because it kills me a little every single time I see people around me confident that there is nothing that they could possibly learn of/from...
She is the complete opposite of that :)

Life can be as messed up as you make it.
You'll be surrounded by people at one point, and feel like there isn't a single person who's like you and then you'd have one person miles away understanding that there's something not right, just by the punctuation used in your sentences.

You're making fun of someone and you don't mean to hurt that person at all? Fair enough. Keep that person's nature in mind before doing anything. Things that don't hurt you, won't hurt them either : is the worst assumption ever. You don't know that what you're saying or doing would or wouldn't hurt them. I just fail to understand why people keep taking others around them for granted.

You have to keep your freaking equation right with some people, because you're stuck there, and for that, you have to be fake
One of the most difficult things for me to do
Why do we humans complicate everything?
Why can't people just get it? You're a certain way for a reason, and you reacted a certain way for a reason (no, the humans who don't think before opening their mouth aren't included in this list)
You want something, you want something
You love someone, you love someone
Since when did it all become about approval and agreeing with each other's opinions?
You are different god dammit. Ofcourse you wouldn't like what I like or who I like.
But why exactly is that important?
The biggest problem with us humans is; one half is seeking for validation, and the other half thinks they must validate it because it's their basic right and they were born to do just that.
There are such few people out there who actually let you be. Whoever you are, and however you are, they let you be. There is no effort needed with these people. No effort to make a conversation, no effort to laugh/smile. It's effortless because you can share silence with them without thinking even for a second that it could be awkward. These are the kind of people who get you. And most times, one doesn't find such people easily. Because you know, it can't be all that easy.

"If you are like most people, then like most people, you don't know you're like most people."

Selfish. That's what we all are.
We want things our way. We discount other's feelings on the account that it's okay to, because we have problems too. Umm, hello.. We all have problems, and unconditional love is too rare, and it doesn't work the way you think it will.

"Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don't have to compromise convictions to be compassionate."

Whenever you think how messed up life is for you,
always remember that there are people hoping they manage to get past just one more day without any more troubles.

"You should always have an opinion" is the most bizarre statement I've heard!

When you've also been blessed enough to have a friend who writes to you like one would to one's diary :)

An eighty-three-year-old lady with more strength than I've seen in most people
When the closest person to her passed away forty years ago
and she also lost a child of hers eventually
She's someone who's really felt loss
And I'm a firm believer of the fact that one has to face real loss in life, to get out of their bubble
Oh yes, we're all in our own bubbles

The ones who have lesser than us tend to give more than us. It's true!
The driver named Vicky, gave away his bag of peanuts to the boy who asked for food at the window of the car..
And even though I wished I'd have had something edible with me (like in Bombay; Gems) on that day, but I didn't and he did.

It is important to keep meeting people who are different from you!
(for your own personal growth in many ways..)
The reason behind that thought is a girl I met, a few months back, someone very ambitious, who told me about a story of a person who lived in the slums of Mumbai and got through the Stanford MBA on one hundred percent scholarship! People like those are the ones setting examples for the rest of us.

HDFC Life Ad Campaign
~ Another wonderful advertisement :)

Because I started working with an NGO recently...
(yes, it is supposed to be 'an' NGO and not 'a' NGO
The articles are used before an abbreviation/word depending on the pronunciation of the first alphabet in that particular word! Phonetically, yes. So, because in this abbreviation, the N is pronounced as enn, which again begins with a vowel, therefore the 'an'. Haha. Yes, let's face it that we've all wondered about this at some point in our lives before.)

Going back to my primary thought,
Because I started working with an NGO recently;
Make A Difference
The experience so far has obviously been enlightening!
My next post will be only about that :)

There's a part of me that can't wait for the next chapter of my life to begin, a part of me that wants to be there for these kids in many ways, for as long as possible, and a part that wants to go away.

Because it is the people of Mumbai who make it Bombay :)
In their Marathi, the sorted!, the obvious vada pav
The food that added to my happiness:
Chicken Tikka roll from Sigdi, Chip Butty from Theobroma, Sardar Pav Bhaji (no, it's not meant for you if you're not a street food person or if you're concerned about your immunity getting disturbed because of all the butter and the utensils used) and the gol gappe from Right Place (Amarsons)

The typical business class families have so much to learn from the middle class. So much!
It just amazes me every single time I see a confident individual around, and most of the times, the confidence is backed by the wealth inherited. Haha. I find that hilarious.

Because good food makes life better!
And so does Chai :)

The unexpected.

"You cannot protect yourself from sadness without protecting yourself from happiness."

Words are the most powerful things ever..
They can lift you up
or tear you apart
They can take off that weight on your shoulders
or put some extra bit on them
They can work like magic
or a disaster
They can make you want to know a human better
or can destroy the idea of ever wanting that
They can work like an ointment for old wounds caused by inhumane people who will pay for their karma
or they can make it worse if you've chosen to stoop down to that level of inhumanity
Words...
If used in the most appropriate order/sequence, manner, tone, and at an appropriate time,
They can do wonders.
They're underestimated because most of us haven't met the people who use them right, often, yet.

There is a difference between great love and right love.
"You think you shouldn't want it because you've never had it, and it scares you."

It all sums down to something
Life
The small incidents
The big instances
The coincidences
The strange and surreal moments
The tiny parts that involve how one's Sunday was
It's for YOU to make sense out of what you want to make sense and what you don't want to make sense out of
It is a choice even when we don't make a choice!
It will always be about the power of the human mind. Yes, I have mentioned that here before. But reminders are healthy when used for the right purpose :)

"Sometimes it is the people who no one imagines anything of who do the things that no one can imagine."
If only truer words had been spoken!
#TheImitationGame #Brilliance #TheExtraordinaryMinds

When something unreal happens in one's life
When one finds another, who's like a mirror
Who can not just read your thoughts, but actually makes the effort to, and wants to
Yes, I would sum it up in one word for now
And that's Serendipity
But, that doesn't cover enough, because there's more, yes, there is

Being naive is not the bad thing,
But being naive in a society full of people who are not, that's what's harmful!

It's always important to ensure to look for the good in people
But being fooled by those who are always sure of what they say and draw conclusions fast,
that's the sad part
Since you don't get anything by "proving" anyone wrong

"Caring people help others not because they expect a reward, but because it is natural to show kindness."

Being able to feel is the most wonderful thing ever.

I will probably never understand people who can't spend time alone with themselves
How on earth do you expect others to spend time with you, when you can't even spend some with your own self?

Extreme opinions, being too certain about your words/thoughts/actions
It doesn't say any good about you, it tells me that you don't believe that it's important to wonder!

"You can't do today's job with yesterday's methods and be in business tomorrow."

Humans
Some of them actually like to consider themselves inferior and not important and live their life like that, which is why they treat themselves like that throughout
Some literally need life to shake them up and tell them, What For? Breathe maybe?
The innocence in some is made to lose by others

Because life is full of flashes
Flashes of thoughts,
of memories,
of moments that are going by too fast,
of people coming and leaving,
of nature trying to communicate with you,
of stray dogs looking at you with the hope that you may feed them,
of the domestic help at your house looking at you with the expectation that you keep in mind that they are also human beings who could use a smile once in a while,
of your mom humming to old Bollywood songs...

For the gazillionth time,
Humans don't fail to amaze me.
Being that animal who has access to language and the ability to express him/her self through speech, and still has the maximum number of misunderstandings/misconceptions

What the world wants you to do:
- Stay strong and don't speak up about how much it's hurting
- Put on a good face every day and don't share your thoughts with necessarily a person of your choice
- Don't trust your gut because we won't permit you to go ahead with it
- Don't be logical because we won't be
- Your future will not be decided by you, but us
- You will not get to choose what you want to do
- Shut up and listen
- Not numb yet? We're not done with you yet.
#TemporaryDisability

"It's not our job to toughen our children up to face a cruel and heartless world. It's our job to raise children who will make the world a little less cruel and heartless."

You must remember to take care of your own self. Always.
The day you think you'll be taken care of, in the manner you can take care of yourself, you're very mistaken.

So often, people can't express what they really want to,
What's worse is, when their silence is taken for no expression

"It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves."

It is an extraordinarily good feeling to know that there is a stranger out there in whose life some of these words could make a difference even for a split second, especially because that was never exactly intended upon :)

Prayers should never be underestimated.

Aaaah,
When you can't find the right words to not just express your thoughts, but even write them down for that matter
Surreal is the word.
When it isn't about figuring out anymore
It's not about your choice either
It's about deciding how to go about it
Life and its unpredictability!
Damn. Who knew who'd have a situation someday, one you wouldn't know how to handle well enough!

"Without pain, how could we know joy? This is an old argument in the field of thinking about suffering and its stupidity and lack of sophistication could be plumbed for centuries but suffice it to say that the existence of broccoli does not, in any way, affect the taste of chocolate."

When something unexpected happens
Like it's more than you could've asked for
But the question is, how come? And why now?
Because you are who you are because of all that life's taught you until now. Is that it?
... If only reality were to make sense all the time!

When you're sure of what you feel
But you're not sure why

At the end of the day,
Your happiness and wishes will be respected by those who have always loved you, and have always been there no matter what.

When a visit to a play school was enlightening!
My first visit, yes.
A board that lays emphasis on "why do we need plants" through imagery
~
It reminded me of the time, when the same friend (with whom I'd gone to this play school, because she had an interview), had come with me for an interview that I had in Mumbai, over three years ago
:)
A concept of short sentences/phrases on staircases for little kids
'I will empathise'
'I will respect'
'I will learn'
~
The board at the entrance that had a lot of these words ~
Integrity, Appreciation, Respect, Tolerance, Empathy
There were more..
I'd asked the receptionist lady if I could take a picture of the board,
She instantly said, no photography allowed
So, I said, this should be shown more often to adults!
She laughed as I did, but she was a sweet lady.
And I just made a note of these then.
~
It was just very pleasant to see the values that are being aimed to inculcate in the kids that go to that school :)

'Education is a process, learning is an ability'

When you try and find the image of a poster that said "Rain and tea are Siamese twins." from the place #Chaayos and you fail, and therefore, my friend must be told that Google doesn't have an answer to everything, but yes, it's another thing that I really wanted to take a picture of that poster at this place, just that it was hidden the whole time because of someone who was working on his laptop, and seemed to take breaks to wonder and freeze with his head moving here and there (no, I did not just cook that up, he actually did keep stopping whilst working)
Blaaaaah!

If an individual can inspire you to be a better person, you must make sure you learn and grasp as much as possible from this individual in the time that you have...

You never judge your parents :)

"She said, 'I'm so afraid.' And I said, 'why?', and she said, 'Because I'm so profoundly happy. Happiness like this is frightening.' I asked her why and she said, 'They only let you be this happy if they're preparing to take something from you'."

When destiny leads you far enough in one direction,
Is it really just trying to test you how you handle it in life,
Or it does intend to give you what you want at the end of it, after all?

Why so insensitive?

So,
Old Bollywood songs playing on the radio actually are capable of getting the weariness off somehow :)

The worst part about being strong is that people choose to not ask if you're hurt.

"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."
~ Choose wisely!

Just because you know you can afford to take it out on some people, doesn't mean you do it every damn time you have to. There's a threshold of the mind, for that person, hearing you say it all in anger, too.

"You can't win a fight against someone's perception."

We are known for insensitivity, the human species

Words you read here and there, in another country/city, on a bus ride, or wherever else walking, and can only relate to one thing ~
Lawnmower
(A scene from the movie, Easy A
"I borrowed my neighbour's mower. I came right over."
Joey's Pizza
(Duh. Joey. Friends. Enough said.)
New Montgomery
(A Cinderella Story. Mrs. Montogomery. The evil stepmother.)
Coventry Motor Inn
(Duh again. The tiny city I lived in, once upon a time)

So many things that go unnoticed
and because humans don't prefer to think
No one ends up bothering

Casa Sanchez
~ a restaurant in L.A. which has the most awesome cheesecake ever!
It honestly reminded me of the scene from Friends when Chandler and Rachel hog on a whole cheesecake together!

Maturity
does not
have anything
to do with
Age
or
Time.
It comes with
experience,
exposure,
and willingness to think beyond the obvious.
Bas.

Uncertainty has its consequences
That feeling of not knowing, assuming some parts, leaving some to destiny, and knowing some
Somewhere along that process of reaching the finish line, there are consequences of your choices and decisions made, some that go unnoticed all together, and some that are visible clearly even later

"I can't adult today
Please don't make me adult"
*please picture a lazy pug lying around, while reading those two lines above*

When the temperature of your room is just about perfect for the dairy milk silk bar to be at its best

Ides of March
How that always brings back "Et tu Brute" in my head

Some songs will always brink back that one time in your life/one person/one situation/a group of people
No matter what you do, that memory ain't going anywhere

Rape. Rape. Rape.
What's beyond sad is that the world is getting used to hearing about it so often, that one is starting to overlook the seriousness of the damn cause.
"Rapists rape people, not outfits."
"Imagine if men were as disgusted with rape as they are with periods."

Patience
Nope, you just want the other person to have enough
Not yourself
#Irony

"It can be tough for a woman in the construction industry. I'm in charge of hiring the subcontractors - electricians, carpenters, roofers, plumbers. Those jobs are overwhelmingly male, so a lot of them don't like taking orders from a woman. They'll say 'yes' when I tell them to do something, but then they'll slack off when I'm not watching. So I've got to stay on point. I have to demonstrate that I know enough about all of their jobs to know when something isn't being done correctly."
- Words taken from another post of Humans of New York, because I can relate to this too much!

I miss being younger.
Life's become too serious. Reality, big decisions.
Makes me want escapism more.
I want the time when the matron used to say it's time to get up, and when we knew it's prep time, and when it's sports time, and then we're supposed to finish our freaking breakfast in 15 minutes.
I miss that precision.

When your morning begins with a long email from a wonderful soul :D

Ah, humans. Perpetually forming conclusions after hearing one side of every story. Lack of perceptiveness. Insensitivity. Zero courage to point fingers at yourself. The hatred for the species only grows.

The Giver
~ that thought provoking movie that shows a different side of the world, one that doesn't exist, yet
Whiplash
~ the word for the movie is crazy, since your passion starts to consume you and you don't even realize it, but brilliant acting
#Movies
(benefits of the longest flight)

"A word of encouragement after failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success."

No, you can't do whatever you feel like. Because being yourself a one hundred percent is not what's acceptable to people who don't matter in your life. Yes, you read that just right.
So much for irony, eh?

"We're so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us
that we don't take time to enjoy where we are."
- Calvin and Hobbes

The words ~
right, wrong, happiness, satisfaction
~ are all too subjective to be narrowed down to one single definition
Everyone has their own and they're all different to some degree!

It's not hard to say sorry
It takes just a moment of realization to be apologetic
But ofcourse if you're okay with your ego taking over, I have no words for you
Sucks how people value their ego more than their relationship with an individual

Like I'd mentioned in the last post, about Alan Powell's inspiring words in that interview
One really needs to hear that for reassurance and be themselves instead of being told they're over-thinking or some crap of that sort!

Your lack of faith in me is disturbing.

Your own mind plays games with you.

"To say a person is a happy person or an unhappy person is ridiculous. We are a thousand different kinds of people every hour."

Fresh starts
I don't think they can always do the trick

On some days, the only fairy tales that come true are the ones you see in movies, probably your favourite ones, the kinds you've seen over and over again

You're judging a book by its cover
By just looking at a situation, or noticing someone perform poorly for the first time; by merely predicting how a company is going to perform after having been a part of the company for the shortest while (probably days)
- These don't depict that you have a fairly good grasping power! It shows that you were reckless enough to not want to get into the depth of any of it, and therefore you jumped to a conclusion, once again, and failed yourself in the mind of someone observing you.

"I'm terrible at journaling. But I do it anyway, because I think that maybe one day I'll write something that I didn't know before, and suddenly it will all make sense."
- Words taken from a wonderful post of Humans of New York.

Sometimes, you don't get to choose things in your life
They're choices that have been made for you by someone else
This someone could be someone you know, could also be someone you don't (if at all that is possible), and then it could be an energy too (the faith you have in things that make your subconscious choose for the conscious you, you still staying oblivious to what the f**k happened)
It sucks that you're not fully aware of all the choices that are being made for you, in your life, sometimes.

You're hurt and you only wish to work things your way
But ofcourse that's not possible
Life would just be an easy path to walk on then
We'd forget it's something one aims to come out of, alive

Unexpected things always happen
Because if one could predict every single thing that's going to happen
Then what's the fun in that
Or may I say, what's the point if all the troubles that are going to come your way were already seen and acted upon before needed
(The things beyond control of the ordinary
and subjectivity in the definition of the word 'trouble')

A clip from the movie: 'The Song'
The movie I saw on the flight
(yes, not 'a' flight, 'the' flight, since the journey had taken a U turn)
The disappointment when you can't find a movie online, but I loved this part (the video)!
The music. And then Alan Powell's inspiring words in general, in an interview (taken by Conn Jackson)

It sucks that every individual has to go through so much in one lifetime

Emotions, feelings, humanity
Man, they sure can mess with one's world
And on that note,
"There is a price to be paid for every increase in consciousness. We cannot be more sensitive to pleasure without being more sensitive to pain."

Therapy.
Everyone needs it. Often.
Whether it's Uncle Chips and your favourite chocolate
Or listening to your favourite song on repeat
Or sleep
Or smoke a cigarette
Cry in the bathroom
Scream
Or a punching bag
Or listening to a kind of song, one plays on loud
Or going through old albums/diaries/stuff
Or vent to a human (in all probability your friend who's always been there)

When you listen to songs like
I Should Go by Levi Kreis
after really, really long...

When you can't be yourself with the people in your life, and cry or smile whenever you feel like, what the f**k is the point?

When a domestic servant at your house suddenly starts crying and pours her heart out to you
You feel a weight, but at the same time, there is a tiny amount of positivity, that you're there to make her say it all out so she could feel better
But you also feel helpless to an extent, although you did discuss the matter further, and would aim to help as much as possible

When something unusual happens
and you're unable to handle it
You're not sure how
but you're not able to breathe
You're getting choked, but oddly, you're keeping at it out of choice

When in a conversation with a friend,
and he wondered as to why he wasted all this time planning a room design and putting so much into it, when he could've easily hired a professional to do the same,
I figured, sometimes, you have to derive sense out of it
The very fact that he did put all that effort, and the room is done now, every time he'd look at a painting or a pattern, he'd be reminded of how he did it all by himself, and at that moment of realization, if he gets happiness by being able to relate to so much of it in that room, it's been worth it...

When someone reassures you more than the times you needed it

And,

"I feel very strongly that I'm surrounded by other realities. We don't really go that far into people, even when we think we do. We hardly ever go in and bring them out. We just stand at the jaws of the cave, and strike a match, and ask quickly if anybody's there."

"Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never a weakness."

"And in all those cruel, difficult moments I encountered, I always wished I would be a little kid again. Not because everything was easier when you were a child; not because you weren't responsible for anything including yourself; not even because life was much more simple, but simply because you had all the rights to scream, to shout, to cry your heart out whenever you felt like it without having anyone blaming you for not being strong:

You can wail the moment you feel that you miss or need anyone. You can scream when you're afraid. You can cry when you're left alone. You have all the rights to weep when it's your first day at school and you're alone and terrified from this sudden change that took place in your life.

If you're a kid, you won't have to fake a smile when your insides are burning just to seem strong and fine! Back then, you had all these rights - until they started telling you that you're a 'grown-up' now and you shouldn't be crying; that you should be strong and responsible; that you might be dying from inside but still you must manage to smile.

I just don't mind losing that 'grown-up' title if that's all I have to lose in order to regain my childhood life and my childhood rights again. I just wish it were possible. Because having to act as a grown up is very painful sometimes."

The universe loves to play funny

Sometimes, you've got to forgive in order to be forgiven.
#TheJudge

So,
The saddest part is when you have no choice but to not be yourself
That is the worst thing that could happen to someone, in my opinion
If the people you've known all your life, have become someone else
and they make you wanna not be yourself
Now that is when you want to escape

Listening to a track like, Who Needs You by The Orwells, on loud
and writing here at the same time

"Who are you to judge the life I live?
I know I'm not perfect
and I don't live to be
but before you start pointing fingers...
make sure your hands are clean!"

Yes, because these days, all people really want to do is point their freaking fingers
It sucks really
(the word, freaking, has been replaced by an abusive word I typed here originally)

So what matters is how PEOPLE may react or what they may feel..
instead of actually being concerned with how the one person being hurt actually feels
All I have is a slow applause for such humans with the broadest mindset ever
(that was sarcasm font, yes)

It's happened a lot with me, that when I've formed an average image about a situation in my head, and then it turned out to be above average.. It left me less disappointed.
It happens with everyone that you form a picture in your head of how it's all supposed to be, and when it doesn't turn out that way, that's what disappoints us, always. But I think it's another thing to be relatively less disappointed and that's important sometimes.

Why can't people just let others be?
Why are they under the impression that they have the freaking authority to control another person's life?
No, you don't have that kinda right. Stop making the other person feel claustrophobic with just your thoughts about how and which way the situation that he/she is handling, the situation that he/she is in.

Why are people imposing their choices on one another?
Everyone is different, and that has to be understood and respected!

The time when all you want to do is escape from that crowd and withdraw into your own shell.

Stephen Hawking.
He is the definition of the word inspiration.
That extraordinary human who one could learn endless things from.

The very fact that people around have become complacent with the idea that they know enough..
With the idea that what is chosen is right..
There is a big difference between knowing and accepting
Knowing there was more than one side to a situation
...and possibilities.

It sucks that one doesn't want to reason out these days
They're just absolutely okay with their freaking minds shut and accepting what is told to them

The recent electricity ad with kids in it:
Bijli Bachao, Desh Banao
Absolutely love it!

Which of these candies was your favourite from your Childhood?
[Credits to NDTV Goodtimes for the above image and the question]

Natkhat and Crax.
I was absolutely shocked and didn't quite know what to say when a person born in the late, late 80s didn't know what they were
I mean, I honestly felt sorry.
But yes, apart from the above candies, these two were epic munchies! Love them still :)

The movie
The different angle
So many things to perceive
Bollywood has a huge influence on the general masses, which is why it's very important for conceptual movies like these.

It is a hypothesis that things are going to be different in the coming time, which means that either they will be or they won't be.

The moments when you listen to your mother share some stories from her time
I consider myself fortunate enough to be able to be that ear who gets to hear all of it from her
The times when she woke up at the early, early hours of the morning
To do all the things that were expected out of her, at the time
..just so inspiring at so many levels
Then again, there could never be a human like a mother. One person who draws unbelievable strength from I wonder where.

When you feed the dogs outside your house
The happiness is incomparable.

When it's just beyond my comprehension
When it has to become difficult for you to explain

That awkward moment when you have that weird internal head ache (nope, not the normal one), and you can't sleep, and instead you choose to distract yourself by doing some word vomit.

"You don't need to prove anything to get a library card."
One of those rare sentences you could only find on a post of Humans of New York (by Brandon)!

When the people you thought knew you, don't know shit.
It's disturbing really.
When you see how narrow minded people can be.
I'm like wow. Which century are you living in?

So many thoughts piled up that I'm not sure I'd be able to present all the sides of the human mind I've witnessed lately, which can work from the most mysterious to the shittiest ways.

Sometimes, you like your room messy (mostly in Winters)
and that's perfectly okay
but you also want it to be the exact way you left it when you get back to it
See now, that is a problem, when you're at home, and your mom has an obsession to keep things cleeeean and in proper order. Whoops!

Old hindi music on the radio :D

Winters make me wanna do only one thing: Not move.

When you hear Atif Aslam's voice on a TV show after really long..
and you remember the goodness and power in the words, sung by him
and how the person next to you still hums to the tune of that one song, even today, with a slight smile
That feeling, is incomparable.
#KyaHuaTeraWada

The improvement in Indian trains!

In one's weak/low moments, one wants to take a step back
and ask, why did you have to do that to me? Why me?
One wants to say it aloud..
In a discussion over Skype with a friend, something interesting was discovered.
People who've had their hearts broken
Never wanted to become people who would be scared of opening themselves infront of others
Never wanted to become people who would be scared to love
Never wanted to become people who wouldn't let their guard down easily...
But they became this weird version of themselves anyway, even when that's never who they wanted to be in the first place.

When one is told about something wrong one did, or a negative about oneself, without sufficient encouragement alongside. Nope, you don't know shit about how much that would work.

When you wake up at whatever hour on a Sunday,
the thought that it's a Sunday, is just different
I have no idea why
But even when you're already the laziest person you know, you want to be even more lazy, just because it's a Sunday!

So, when there are things that have been on your mind all day and you still can't find a way to say it in words
Sometimes when you're with a friend at a new place, and just the right song plays, you're not sure what to think
Whether you're meant to feel like everything that you'd missed out on with this friend, will be caught up on since it had only been paused until now, or was it just meant to feel different
(I cannot recollect this or frame it better, since it had been saved in a draft post for far too long)

A city like Delhi, I'm not sure if I'm ever going to manage to develop a positive sentiment towards it.

"We will never be happy because our expectation of happiness is always evolving. And as we evolve, everything changes. Even the love we have now becomes something of yesterday and the anticipation of the things we desire tomorrow, are the things that fill our emptiness today.
And as we evolve, nothing stays the same. We will always want more, even if what we have now is enough. This is the destruction of being human. We create the illusion of happiness to make sense of the disappointments we have yet to live.
And sometimes we do find happiness. But even though, sometimes it is not meant to last forever and that within itself is a beautiful thing to evolve from."
- R.M.Drake

An advice;
Learn to look at yourself before pointing a finger at somebody else!
Irrespective of whether that person is older or younger to you, look at yourself first!

"It's not the obligation of the artist to censor viewpoints for the sake of agreeability and most of all, it's not your obligation to experience the artist's art."
"I can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to see in me."

"If you could love the wrong person that much, imagine how much you could love the right one."
"It is a hypothesis that the sun will rise tomorrow, and this means that we do not know whether it will rise."

"If money didn't exist, would you still chase your dreams?"

"Aap khwaab dekh ti hain?
Lekin, khwaab dukh dete hain...

Toh? Woh toh haqiqat bhi deti hai!"

"If you don't believe in even the possibility of magic, you'll never find it."

When you save a friend's ass and she didn't even have to say why, because you figured
That's the moment when you both laugh hard..and she gets back to what it was that she got caught for
Haha. I hadn't smiled like that since a while. That feeling of just knowing, and sharing an understanding like that with someone, that yes, I have your back and I always will. It's just really reassuring. And reassurance is just what you need sometimes these days.

"It's one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it's another thing to make a portrait of who they are."

Sometimes, you have to choose between what you can do and what you should do!
#SuchIsLife #Unpredictability #HumanBehaviour

When you see one losing the respect that he/she anyway never really had.. you see it happening. The other person's face tells you all of it. I'm not sure what to feel, sorry or indifferent. But it doesn't work like that. The defined choices that we keep in our heads in order to see things in black and white, doesn't work well, at least for those who have the ability to look beyond the obvious.

Hypocrisy at its best
#MentalityOfTheHumansAroundUs

The times when you're left with, 'I don't even know what to say'
When you're so damn hurt, that you prefer to not even talk about it this time
You realize you'd have to be fake for once in your life
You'd have to pretend to be someone you're not, in order for less bombardment of bizzare and nonsensical questions in your face

Sometimes, the people in your life make you question things you never thought you'd question

Whatever happened to entitlement to freedom of expression?

And for the love of God, you're not supposed to jump to conclusions by agreeing/disagreeing with every person's opinion that's shared with you. I mean, grow up?
No human is expected to agree with everybody's opinion. But respecting it is what's important.

"You will always be too much of something for someone: too big, too loud, too soft, too edgy. If you round out your edges, you lose your edge. Apologize for mistakes. Apologize for unintentionally hurting someone - profusely. But don't apologize for being who you are."
~ Have people forgotten this?
People need to be reminded of this from time to time!

When a person who's expressive all the time, but chooses to stay silent once in a while.. There is a reason behind it. You genuinely don't want to hurt the other person's sentiment and therefore, you talk when you're calmer.

I don't remember the last time I experienced so many emotions all in one day
It'll always be amusing how the human mind works and a mystery how it doesn't work at all in some gray areas
Not too sure whether I should say 'gray' really
#ThatDayWasANewLow

The point when you couldn't help but think what you'd do to make someone feel comfortable in an awkward situation where he/she doesn't know anybody in the group he/she has to stand amongst..
This is mainly because of your habit of making a conscious effort to go beyond just the obvious perspective of the other person
But, oops! Not everyone thinks like that, and not everyone wants to make that effort.
(Yes, we must try and look at the world like it's a beautiful place even when we see cruelty in different forms around us all the time.)

There's so much that's happened lately that I'm not sure where to start from, still

Why can't people learn to respect each other's opinions in general, instead of actually making the other person feel bad about their thoughts and how one processes their own?

It's so important to forget all your troubles for a little while. To stay in that bubble where everything seems okay, only until it's not.
It's important to watch your mother smile to old Hindi Bollywood music and understand the depth of momentary happiness.

"Life is a big fat gigantic stinking mess, that's the beauty of it, too."

Seriously, when will empathy go viral?
No one gives a shit about perspective
They're just absolutely okay with shoving their heads with what is told to them or for that matter, what has been known all along
Ugh, how much that pisses me off
Oblivion is one thing, and choosing to just go on about whatever it is that you've known so far, is another
You just don't have the freaking ability to make yourself want to know better
Man, learning is endless
Why on earth are so many people delusional that they've learned enough?
It makes me sad.

"So I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them."

And somehow, I still sense that being yourself isn't good enough. And you're not very welcomed.
Man, it's bloody sad that people don't encourage each other to be themselves.

'If I Stay'
The movie
The background music
Jamie Blackley's accent
The passion in two characters portrayed towards music
The hope
The promises made and kept
These are the kind of movies that take you into a bubble for a bit, and it's all different when you're in it.

What it says!

I think one's threshold of pain rises rather significantly when you undergo a situation you wish you hadn't dealt with all by yourself.

Why are we humans so insensitive man?
We don't give a tiny shit about the people around us. Forget making conscious efforts every now and then to actually help out a person even emotionally and be god damn perceptive about it!

Some people are the worst story tellers.
The worst part is when they're the only ones who make sure that their opinion is heard, you can't help but pull your hair apart in grief that the whole story has not just been poorly narrated to a bunch of people, but is full of baseless words.

What's the point of making the effort when you will be discouraged again? So much power in one person's hands deciding the future #Sucks

I sat in the shuttle and the first song that played was, Let Her Go
I mean, what timing!
The feeling of listening to a song you like/love, will always be different when you hear it in a moving vehicle.
#Warwick #OnCampusShuttleBus #OneLastTime #UK

So, the guaranteed way of hating a topic you genuinely liked to begin with: write 10,000 words on it. No kidding. And it sucks and is really unfair that there's so much power in one person's hands deciding the future. In short, your degree here pretty much depends on your luck of who your supervisor is. And that's it.

One can be so delusional looking at a really old picture saved in your phone, thinking, the relationship between the people in the photograph and the bond that existed at a point of time, is all still the same because that's how it's supposed to be.

Happiness is a manner of travelling

You've gotta love what words can do

When you get long replies from someone you're really, really fond of, and have so much respect for in your heart
Oh, that can make your day and leave the biggest smile on your face, along with urging you to write here!

When someone has more faith in you than you have in yourself
That can keep you going, forever...

When you read a post by a stranger and it says,
"Very often Bombay rickshaw walas just restore my faith in humanity"
You think to yourself how true that is!

Ever come across something you can't fix?
Like you just can't.

When you can almost sense the happiness on the person's face you're on a call with, and you managed to make him/her happy with a tiny surprise that you got couriered for him/her!
The way that, that can race your heart and make you smile, with the thought of how the effort was all worth it, is incomparable!

The good thing about a picture is that you were happy in it even if you aren't now. So that state of mind almost crawls back in for a second.

At some point, you get so strong for the person you've been there for
That somewhere along that road, you started to actually become emotionally detached
So you never let anyone/anything hurt you, in order to avoid feeling the pain that it could cause by being compassionate
And because you kinda got good at keeping at it, all by yourself, you forgot the need to feel that pain that demanded to be felt
That's when a close one reminds you that it's okay to let your guard down for a while, and be hurt
Because the world can take it and because he/she can take it.

I guess I'll always be a sucker for happy endings...
#BleedingLove

Sometimes it's not about whether it should be done or not
It's not about whether it's the right thing to do or not
It's about acknowledging the other person's sentiment behind it
He/she is happy for your choice and decision anyway
But if there is something sour in that person's expressions
It's only because there is a hidden sentiment behind it
Something he/she expects you to understand and pay attention to
That acknowledgement is enough to assure him/her, so that the respect this person does have somewhere in his/her heart for you, never varies

When you'd questioned someone sometime back:
In conversation with a three year old,
Me: "Who is your best friend?"
She: "My best friends are my mom and dad."
That moved me beyond words that I could possibly find to write here

As per our cute tour guide, one of the colleges had an admission criteria where each student was given one word as a topic, and you had to write on that one word, for three hours

The ups and downs are normal, as they say.

Sometimes, you wanna cry and stay low
And that's all you wanna be

It hurts so much when you see the incapability in another person to be able to understand what you do

Because the opposite of love is apathy, not hate. When you're not completely indifferent as yet, and there's hate. An emotion that exists, it's amusing how you'd never thought you could manage to build that amount of hatred in your heart for someone, who's not even capable of empathy.

Mixed to the extent that I can't decipher the ingredients!

When you can't seem to keep track of all that's going on in your life
No kidding!
#AlmostAMonth #WarwickTimes
#TooMuchInTooManyPieces

When there are situations we've all imagined in our heads, situations we've totally wanted to be in..
but it's when you're really there, you go blank and are not quite sure if you'd be able to be yourself at that moment of rush and risk.. and maybe the evolved you, manages to be somewhat yourself also.. but there is a constant thought in your subconscious kinda pulling you back for no apparent reason
Either ways, don't regret it. I don't :)

When it's not any kinda fear but more like a debt
Guilt that's been cooked up in your head but doesn't have any basis to exist really
The unpredictable factor in life that leaves us all with our jaws dropped after all

When you're being forced to go about a few things in a way you didn't have in mind for yourself and for the other person

When things turn out like you least expected them to
But all in a positive way :)

When you know you have a cold and it's only getting worse, and you should probably sleep.. But no, you end up listening to Alesso tracks you hadn't heard in a while and of course, sleep vanished

When the experience that's built up with incidents that took place in a period of about three weeks
has managed to give you a relatively good insight over all..

I don't get why people are such cowards
You don't have it in you to say things clearly to someone who's been a part of your life for a significant period of time? How weird can you be? I hate incomplete conversations and then one has to do the icing of the cake by leaving you with assumptions for the rest of your life
Thank you so very much for being the freak you are.

That moment when you don't get your own chain of thought!

Time is flying and it's almost here
It's starting to hit me now.. that things are going to change
and for once, I can't wait for that to happen!
~ Well, that was written a while ago. I've been here since three weeks now and it's been great.
I guess it is true when they say, it's better when you haven't formed that picture in your head, coz then, you'll always like it, no matter what it is.

UK. Warwick. Campus life. University. So much keeps going on. Change. Happiness.
New people. Different mindsets. Lack of home food. Independence on another level.
Too much walking.. seriously! Swimming. In a pool after four years with some swimmers who swim like sharks.. again, not kidding!
Realizations. The unpredictable weather.
Food fair. Samosas.
Walks while listening to your favourite tracks, more than often :D
Mars and Dairy Milk flavoured ice creams!!

Awesome food at the Indian Village in Coventry. #ItWasAGoodDay
And blah (not in the gibberish way). Haha. Will continue this! :)

Why do people give opinions on a subject they don't have any freaking knowledge about?
WHY?
Somebody explain that to me, please!
Did I ask for your opinion?
No, I didn't.
Have you done any study whatsoever on the subject you're jabbering about incessantly?
Clearly, you haven't.

When there is so much effort that's required from one person to work out a relationship (any kind!)
even in terms of normal communication.. It shouldn't have to be hard at all. You weren't born to please the other person.. And for that matter, if it is hard, is it really worth it? (Don't be kidding yourself)

I don't get it. I just don't get it. You talk before you think. You're bloody certain of things you don't have any kinda knowledge about. You will present your views as if you're the master and the others are meant to bow to your words. You do not understand (forget believing) the concept of cleaning the mess after a presentation of any sort. You lack the freaking ability to look beyond just your own perspective. You take forever to gather some logic and reasoning from the occurrence of a situation. You talk in a repulsive tone. You don't have a drop of keenness to learn anything new whatsoever. Since when did humans become like that?

Hope but don't expect.
Nope, it's not the same thing :)

The trouble with reality is, it troubles.

When you end up spending hours on a thought that crossed your mind once
You know it for yourself that assumptions are the worst things ever, but no, you refuse to think rationally at that one point when that stupid thought has managed to take over all the others pondering in your head
You know it that it's as tiny as it can get, and it would probably be forgotten by the other person within a few minutes from the point of time of its occurrence, but because you have the stupid habit of letting things get to you, you try to take your mind off it.. But, oops. Ofourse you don't succeed
It's funny how the human brain functions, really.

I've had some conversations with a good number of people where they're contradicting themselves in the very next statement but they don't get it
I mean, first of all, how do you not even seem to realise that?

Crisp much?

So,
When your day has turned out to be nowhere close to what you'd thought it'd be like
But of course, when has the picture in the head actually turned out to be the same?

When it's all so uncertain around you, that at one point, you feel handicapped and don't know what to do, think or feel about it all

And then to top it all, your phone has no signal all of a sudden for no explicable reason
Like it just doesn't have network and you try for a bit, but you give up too fast, even if it's just about your phone
That's because the day feels long but also flew
And then you end up telling yourself,
Sometimes, things aren't supposed to happen after all!
I don't know if too many things happen to surprise me lately.. But they sure amuse me.

Dear Delhi,
Learn something from Mumbai. Something.
Sincerely,
The city that never sleeps.

It feels nice when certain people/strangers figure out things about you faster than people who've known you, did!

Are you supposed to stop living because it's not safe around?
- the obvious question of the hour

When everyone's life seems like a ride
One has to, just has to spend time in this city to believe what it's like here!
#BombayLocalTrainStations

And why would you do something for the world again? I mean, especially when you say that you're doing it for yourself and that you want to, but you forget where you started off with that chain of thought. Didn't you?
When we forget the basis of what it is that's got us where we are.
To remind ourselves of the basis is imperative.

"It's one of those things people say: you can't move on until you've let go of the past. Letting go is the easy part. It's the moving on that's painful. So sometimes we fight it, trying to keep things the same. Things can't stay the same though. At some point you just have to let go, move on. Because no matter how painful it is, it's the only way we grow."

Back!

Destiny, is it?

When you learn to overlook the negatives because you have to!

The feeling of satisfaction that you just get when you're home.
And nope, I am not home right now.

You can never know what goes on in a person's life each day of his/her life wholly even if this person is a family member or your closest friend or spends his/her whole day with you..
You never know what goes on in one's head really. The events. The people he/she met, who made/messed up the day. The things one needed and not like he/she couldn't get but because it didn't feel right. When you're in different situations with different people around you, it makes you think of whether you would've gone about it the same way otherwise or not.

When a dog takes your bad mood away and you turn out to be in the exact opposite mood! What animals do for you without you having to ask for any of it at all. But it shouldn't come as a surprise.. Us humans have calculations of debits and credits towards each other and 'unconditional' is a rare term understood and used today.

A song you repetitively listen to, only to find an article that relates to it all the more!

When it's your really, really close friend's birthday and you have to wake her up early the next morning so she doesn't miss her flight home! Haha. And you put an alarm to do that :)

I love my laptop's keypad :D

When you're pepped for no apparent reason.

Mumbai is getting delayed and is not on schedule, but, hopefully, this time shall fly..
Yes, at the same time, it's actually not been bad.

The importance of people around you.

When you see one noticing things happening to someone, but when others, equally important, went through the same, then where on earth was your observation?
