Why so insensitive?

So,
Old Bollywood songs playing on the radio actually are capable of getting the weariness off somehow :)

The worst part about being strong is that people choose to not ask if you're hurt.

"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."
~ Choose wisely!

Just because you know you can afford to take it out on some people, doesn't mean you do it every damn time you have to. There's a threshold of the mind, for that person, hearing you say it all in anger, too.

"You can't win a fight against someone's perception."

We are known for insensitivity, the human species

Words you read here and there, in another country/city, on a bus ride, or wherever else walking, and can only relate to one thing ~
Lawnmower
(A scene from the movie, Easy A
"I borrowed my neighbour's mower. I came right over."
Joey's Pizza
(Duh. Joey. Friends. Enough said.)
New Montgomery
(A Cinderella Story. Mrs. Montogomery. The evil stepmother.)
Coventry Motor Inn
(Duh again. The tiny city I lived in, once upon a time)

So many things that go unnoticed
and because humans don't prefer to think
No one ends up bothering

Casa Sanchez
~ a restaurant in L.A. which has the most awesome cheesecake ever!
It honestly reminded me of the scene from Friends when Chandler and Rachel hog on a whole cheesecake together!

Maturity
does not
have anything
to do with
Age
or
Time.
It comes with
experience,
exposure,
and willingness to think beyond the obvious.
Bas.

Uncertainty has its consequences
That feeling of not knowing, assuming some parts, leaving some to destiny, and knowing some
Somewhere along that process of reaching the finish line, there are consequences of your choices and decisions made, some that go unnoticed all together, and some that are visible clearly even later

"I can't adult today
Please don't make me adult"
*please picture a lazy pug lying around, while reading those two lines above*

When the temperature of your room is just about perfect for the dairy milk silk bar to be at its best

Ides of March
How that always brings back "Et tu Brute" in my head

Some songs will always brink back that one time in your life/one person/one situation/a group of people
No matter what you do, that memory ain't going anywhere

Rape. Rape. Rape.
What's beyond sad is that the world is getting used to hearing about it so often, that one is starting to overlook the seriousness of the damn cause.
"Rapists rape people, not outfits."
"Imagine if men were as disgusted with rape as they are with periods."

Patience
Nope, you just want the other person to have enough
Not yourself
#Irony

"It can be tough for a woman in the construction industry. I'm in charge of hiring the subcontractors - electricians, carpenters, roofers, plumbers. Those jobs are overwhelmingly male, so a lot of them don't like taking orders from a woman. They'll say 'yes' when I tell them to do something, but then they'll slack off when I'm not watching. So I've got to stay on point. I have to demonstrate that I know enough about all of their jobs to know when something isn't being done correctly."
- Words taken from another post of Humans of New York, because I can relate to this too much!

I miss being younger.
Life's become too serious. Reality, big decisions.
Makes me want escapism more.
I want the time when the matron used to say it's time to get up, and when we knew it's prep time, and when it's sports time, and then we're supposed to finish our freaking breakfast in 15 minutes.
I miss that precision.

When your morning begins with a long email from a wonderful soul :D

Ah, humans. Perpetually forming conclusions after hearing one side of every story. Lack of perceptiveness. Insensitivity. Zero courage to point fingers at yourself. The hatred for the species only grows.

The Giver
~ that thought provoking movie that shows a different side of the world, one that doesn't exist, yet
Whiplash
~ the word for the movie is crazy, since your passion starts to consume you and you don't even realize it, but brilliant acting
#Movies
(benefits of the longest flight)

"A word of encouragement after failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success."

No, you can't do whatever you feel like. Because being yourself a one hundred percent is not what's acceptable to people who don't matter in your life. Yes, you read that just right.
So much for irony, eh?

"We're so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us
that we don't take time to enjoy where we are."
- Calvin and Hobbes

The words ~
right, wrong, happiness, satisfaction
~ are all too subjective to be narrowed down to one single definition
Everyone has their own and they're all different to some degree!

It's not hard to say sorry
It takes just a moment of realization to be apologetic
But ofcourse if you're okay with your ego taking over, I have no words for you
Sucks how people value their ego more than their relationship with an individual

Like I'd mentioned in the last post, about Alan Powell's inspiring words in that interview
One really needs to hear that for reassurance and be themselves instead of being told they're over-thinking or some crap of that sort!

Your lack of faith in me is disturbing.
- Me.
