Apt much?

When life just chooses differently for you.
It's like you never knew or imagined what it'd be like when the change takes place.
But then you were always with a certain group of people and the only one who left or for that matter, had to leave, was you. Yes, I do admit that it comes down to the choices one makes in life. But the underlying points are still the factors that led you to make that choice in the first place.

The thought of me leaving Mumbai after my graduation is one of the thoughts in the list that keeps coming and going. And, it is going to take a while for it to completely go, like the other thoughts that I've been working on, to get rid of.

I do not like the idea of keeping something borrowed.
Why do people assume that, just because most of the people on this planet keep borrowed things with themselves and use it as if it were theirs to own, that everyone would do that?

When you stay at a place that doesn't get you the homely feeling at all
How many ever times you've tried so far

I don't get it.
How does one not see what I see? How?
#SomeThingsAreBetterSaidButSomeReallyAren't!

Loud music

People apparently eat a lot when they're angry
I come here when I am.

"We're all susceptible to it, the dread and anxiety of not knowing what's coming. It's pointless in the end, because all the worrying and making of the plans for things that could or could not happen, it only makes things worse. So walk your dog or take a nap. Just whatever you do, stop worrying. Because the only cure for paranoia is to be here, just as you are."

I hate it when you can't/don't end up living up to your word.. Be it to a driver..
Not because you had something to do with it but then you won't shift the blame because you don't/shouldn't do that. Aah, do the right thing...
#Blah

When you're at a place for no apparent reason at all !!!
Why?

When you can't wait
Because it's that HOT

Anything in excess can get annoying. And travelling is that anything for now.

Sometimes,
I just want to have that life back that I had in Mumbai. Badly.
My bed.
My cupboard with things and I know their 'location'!

Mayo Food. Sunday mornings, Thursday dinners, Tuesday silent lunches...
From 'Gullus' topping the list to "Ice cream for sweet dish (not dessert, sweet dish) tonight! :D Ha!"
..Horlicks-ed milk/water ~ fudge on the bread for b'fast! (borrowed horlicks. Haha), Maggi with pizza topping and CGS a.k.a. Chilli Garlic Spread, Midnight Fudge made by experts of the dorm with Kaccha Maggi and tang to toast for birthdays!
I don't know why we even cribbed.
Plus the tea times at 4 pm where a piece of water melon made you say, "Guys, you have to see what we're getting for tea today!!" :D

How much I miss Mayo!

Looking forward to a couple of things ahead now! All very, very soon.

"When we're dying or have suffered a catastrophic loss, we all move through five distinct stages of grief. We go into denial because the loss is so unthinkable we can't imagine it's true. We become angry with everyone, angry with survivors, angry with ourselves. Then we bargain. We beg. We plead. We offer everything we have, we offer our souls in exchange for just one more day. When the bargaining has failed and the anger is too hard to maintain, we fall into depression, despair, until finally we have to accept that we've done everything we can. We let go. We let go and move into acceptance."

A corner of my mind : part 6

"The person that invented the phrase 'happily ever after' should have his ass kicked so hard."

Everything happens for a reason but the reason is not always good.

Other people's lives aren't as complicated as we make it in our heads. Sometimes, it's all about hearing them out. When you could just be there to listen to that person say it all out loud. It doesn't have to have an outcome or a conclusion, and it does not necessarily have to be acted upon.

The world is a man's toilet.
As a friend of mine aptly puts it in those five words, I couldn't agree more.

Doodles

The feeling/thoughts when you're sitting alone in a car for a few minutes with that silence, playing your kind of depressing songs

When you let people slip away.. By choice.

Some thoughts that one should keep to oneself. Really.

Men and chauvinism
And how they judge ~ hilarious!

Sometimes, you want to do something because it's fascinating, and the other times it's backed by more convincing reasons, but the point is, you 'want' to do it.

It's not always what it looks like and it's not always what we believe
~ I might've mentioned that so many times earlier, but it's been true for so many things, more than sometimes.

"Doesn't matter how tough we are. Trauma always leaves a scar. It follows us home, it changes our lives, trauma messes everybody up, but maybe that's the point: All the pain and the fear and the crap. Maybe going through all of that is what keeps us moving forward, it's what pushes us. Maybe we have to get a little messed up, before we can step up."

Acceptance

It hurts.
Not with what was done but the fact that it wasn't shared before it was acted upon.
Not because it was done to make someone extraordinarily happy, but the part that wasn't told and looked from your angle/point of view by the one person who considered you closest in life or at least you were told so.
Not because it was more than what you have been given in the past but because higher wasn't even freaking considered for you. That's the part that hurts.
Priorities that change with people entering and leaving our lives.

"Change… We don't like it, we fear it. But we can't stop it from coming. We either adapt to change, or we get left behind. It hurts to grow. Anybody who tells you it doesn't, is lying."

Some things are just better unsaid. Really.

It surprises me when I look back and read what not I've said to one person at a point of time in life.
So much. As if he/she were my own personal diary. It's just that it hurts, only a little, yes, if I may say so, that not all the people make it to the list of people there, as a part of your life today.

"The thing about addiction is, it never ends well. Because eventually, whatever it was that was getting us high, stops feeling good, and starts to hurt. Still, they say you don't kick the habit until you hit rock bottom. But how do you know when you're there?
Because no matter how badly a thing is hurting us, sometimes, letting it go hurts even worse."

Yes, I'm back to watching Grey's Anatomy! :)
So much to catch up still though.

I really have to do something to conceal my emotions better for God's sake. When your goddamn face just shows everything that's going on inside or at least the big picture. I try so hard. It sucks you know.

"Deep down, everyone wants to believe they can be hardcore. But being hardcore isn't just about being tough. It's about acceptance. Sometimes you have to give yourself permission to not be hardcore for once. You don't have to be tough every minute of every day. It's okay to let down your guard. In fact, there are moments when it's the best thing you could possibly do, as long as you choose your moments wisely."

Sometimes, a person who's known you in and out and still does, behaves like a stranger, even though it's unintentional or at least you think it is. It's just not normal to me, even if it is something about your choice of food.

And, life has a lot ahead in store for you/me. We just need to keep at it and have faith sometimes. I know it's easier said than done but you're strong and you won't give up :)
~ Those are the lines I said to a friend the other day. But then again, "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans." And my favourite question for just the above,
Really?

About the show, Satyamev Jayate, I couldn't agree more with just this ~
'Well if Satyamev Jayate is such a waste of time,  then you probably have a better idea. If that's the case, please go ahead and implement it.'

'Respect your elders. They made it through school without Google or Wikipedia.'

Because life's an illusion?

The good feeling :D
When Bollywood movies can be simply entertaining if one is willing to get entertained!

When 2-3 hours of a movie go on to depict so much that it always seems impossible to happen in life
#ReelWorld #NotRealWorld
But points for effort.

Songs, language, weddings, culture

When you think you're past a thought, that crosses your head, yet again
#Disappointment

If Only
~ the movie.

How life can absolutely shift the basis of faith!
How you believe you'd have lesser regrets if you lived one of the days of your life, as if it were your last..
only to know, it wasn't yours but the one you did it all for!
When one hasn't been the expressive one all their life, and finds it difficult to say it all in words, but manages to express oneself one fine day, it means something on another level at that point!

Dreams are important. And so are tears, at some point.

'How can so much ego be in one relationship?'

I can't wait for June and things to keep me busy and not think of crap that the mind has full probability of acting upon!

Music, what would I have done without you!

When it's not your place to say!

"I'll tell you a riddle.
You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away.
You know where you hope this train will take you, but you don't know for sure. But it doesn't matter.
How can it not matter to you where the train will take you?"
"Because you'll be together."

# When

When you always make a conscious effort to understand, without fail...
But a point comes when you're so close to giving up, that, it's like a flashback of your life in your head.. And you tell yourself, it's too soon to give up. Or for that matter, that maybe life has things planned that are on their way to get to you. And, you hold up and take a deep breath, and go along with it all.

#JustHeardIt :)

When you don't have any regrets in life so far, but things are rubbed in your face incessantly at one point

When music comes to the rescue so often!

When you know you have the guts and you don't have to prove anything to anybody, because
You know.. But your morals don't allow you.

And, "Life is beautiful" - Eh?
#Really?

When words aren't enough to describe it all

When a camera can't capture what your head does!

When 'living it up' feels real :)

A corner of my mind : part 5

Black nail-paint
Train journeys
A trip after graduation
With friends
Good music

Not just a song that gets your feet tapping, but one that keeps you peppy as an after effect for a bit :)

Irony
So much irony
Back to the looks
Judge-y eyes

Not a Union territory anymore? #Haha #So random

Sea (that you could see)
Sand (at your feet)
Water (that touched and went)
Wind (only the feel ofcourse)

Nature at its best
Irony at its best
Expression at its best

Churches
Architectural designs
Originality
Peace
..And how I've been to so many churches before (when I was younger).. And don't remember even the significant details!

Comfy beige pants. Aaah :)
Naariyal paani

#Goa :)

The few things you don't have everyday, but when you do, it all becomes a part of your memory:
Coconut water (Haha!)
Ganne ka Ras
Raspberry Dolly
Gola (probably Kala Khatta)
Falooda Kulfi
:D

Raabta - female version and the male version - such well written and sung songs!

And when you think your graduations's over, the University announces a re-exam for a subject due to its inefficiency and because ofcourse the paper got leaked!
*it took place, yes, but it was more of a meherbaani on the university than.. sigh*

A final goodbye to Mumbai happened..
But it hasn't hit me yet, and it probably won't for a while...

Wrong time

When one person's words mean, I-don't-know-what to you?
When he/she fails to understand the importance of him/her in your life
When, with all your self control, you still want to get in touch with a person irrespective of who makes the goddamn effort
And being all composed and calm in your head, you come up with something and act upon it, and then it doesn't even satisfy you like half the percentage of what it could have
And that's when I say to myself, why is it so hard? Why?

Life and its plans for you and people that mess with it.
*sigh

Other things in pieces, yes.
Exams. Studies.
#TheTimeWhenLifeSucks

Yes, logically and practically thinking and looking at the problems of the world, and with so many other problems people out there are facing...
But for once, if I don't?
#MoralityPoliceCheck

Conclusion about one thing for sure:
The subject I end up studying the least for, accidentally, always gets me more marks.

When will people understand they have to stop wasting electricity?

Khushbu - A small girl (supposed to be in about 1st or 2nd grade) who likes to work like her mother, and wash clothes/utensils and doesn't like the idea of going to school to study and refuses to even entertain that thought in her mind!
How circumstances in life can lead one to think like that!

Crime Patrol - what a show!
Human trafficking - eye opener/reminder for so many people
I really was surprised about it taking place in Andheri, Mumbai particularly!

Paralysis - How it can change one's perception and to what an unimaginable extent man!

Dear Time,
Don't fly.
Sincerely,
One that values you or atleast tries to.

How happiness takes over one day ~
And you don't know if you're low or not but random conversations and music come to your rescue even when you had the option of sleeping because you were genuinely tired with your eyes burning?

And when will this world stop talking and worrying about each other's lives for once and try and mind their own freaking business, for once?
