One of those days

I wish I could tell you that things get better, but they don't
You just get to know yourself better

If only your brain knew what to tell your heart when it's being absolutely ridiculous about a situation
One that doesn't even exist, but you love to believe that it will

When you're so used to seeing someone ill...
that you don't even realize that the person is actually still going through the same physical and mental pain, and suffering!
Just because you have become accustomed to it, does not give you the right to treat the other, like it's normal and okay. Because no, it's not normal and it's not okay.
People really need to get that!

You are a big fool if you think you wouldn't get hurt just because you've been good to people all throughout your life!

"The capacity to be alone is the capacity to love. It may look paradoxical to you, but it is not. It is an existential truth: only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of the other person - without possessing the other, without becoming dependent on the other, without reducing the other to a thing, and without becoming addicted to the other." - berlin-artparasites

You know what's worse?
When you can't f**king ignore a situation completely and be all I don't give a damn and I don't care, not just because you're supposed to be better than that at dealing with it all, but because you're expected to, and not only from one person, but a whole bunch
So, when you know it's going to affect a lot more than you can see infront of you
The relationship between two individuals will always remain fragile, unless there's unfailing faith and trust on the other
And no, that isn't just a rarity
The point is that it takes forever to get there
and one shit lie to make it fall.

"I like to eat truly, drink truly, kiss truly, chat with friends truly, fall in love truly; and when you put so much into all of those things, it's natural that you come out full of scars." - Sabina (berlin-artparasites)

When a person who's compromised and sacrificed all his/her life ~ is made to feel like it's an obligation now
I mean, come on
Why are we so screwed up as a species?

An individual will only choose to believe what he/she wants to believe, irrespective of what kind of a relationship a person may share with another, irrespective of how long it took to build it, and also irrespective of what the accused has been wrongly blamed for and has chosen not to explain oneself for the same
#HarshTruth

"Just overheard two kids getting into a heated argument about iOS and Android. At their age, I was arguing about Apsara pencils being better than Natraj."
- Akshar Pathak

So, this world is cruel
And yes, you'll be hurt
One has got to be prepared for consequences irrespective of the number of good deeds done.

Serendipity :)
[might have to pay some royalty for the usage of that word, since it's not my original thought. Haha.]

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you don't stop."

And maybe you're not supposed to talk to another human being at all, sometimes
You'd probably kill yourself in the process, but yeah, you're still expected to keep it all inside you and die with it
And please, I'm not talking about an individual's secret here AT ALL
You're not even supposed to share some thoughts with another human
Thoughts that have been piled up inside your system since a while
Because no, there is no guarantee that your trust will not be broken, no matter how faithful you are to the people in your life
When your trust is shaken, it's done
The part that actually sucks about this entire scenario, is that, you will be hurt
and you will get hurt, no matter what.

I had a dream I was dying
But I found nobody there
And if one last night is all that we've been given
Let's live it like we care
#Lyrics

Sucks
When people sitting across the world can get you better than the ones sitting next to you
The human mind never ceases to amaze me
It sucks how a person is made to go through so much of mental trauma because of absolute unnecessary bullshit
And what's worse is, the person causing this damage is unaware of it
Yes, I do remember mentioning this much much earlier in one of my posts
But since humans have a tendency to repeat their shitty acts, I'm just left with no choice but to repeat myself with my words here

When you've realized that you've already met the most selfish, the most immature individual on earth, who does not have the brain to even understand what degree of selfishness has been reached
When such humans are willing to stoop down to a level, that will jeopardize people's relationships

I hate how people overlook the fact that what they want and like is not the same as the person sitting next to them
No, I do not like what you like
My priorities are different
And when your priorities are different, you're willing to compromise on a lot more than you think!

It's so damn important to remember to not let any of it consume you
Not even your passion
Because you can't afford to lose yourself in the process of it all
Since that's the worst thing that can happen to you!

"It's always surprising to me how many young women think they have to be perfect. I rarely meet a young man who doesn't think he already is."

Sometimes, silence from the other person is better
The more you dig up the dirt
The more exposed you'd be
and the probability of you getting hurt might increase

"I'm trying to beef up my skills. There's still too much getting lost between my head and the page. There are a lot of emotions that are very close to each other. I want to be able to show the difference between nervous and tense. Sad and depressed. Thoughtful and wistful."
~ Words taken from another post of Humans of New York! #BecauseICanRelateVeryMuch

You'd always wish that things had turned out differently
Different than what you thought
Different than the expected
Different than how someone else had predicted it all
Just different
Even if not on a different tangent, but atleast different to a degree that it can be called different.

The only regret in life is ~ 'giving considerable thought to inconsiderate people.'

Why so insensitive?

So,
Old Bollywood songs playing on the radio actually are capable of getting the weariness off somehow :)

The worst part about being strong is that people choose to not ask if you're hurt.

"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."
~ Choose wisely!

Just because you know you can afford to take it out on some people, doesn't mean you do it every damn time you have to. There's a threshold of the mind, for that person, hearing you say it all in anger, too.

"You can't win a fight against someone's perception."

We are known for insensitivity, the human species

Words you read here and there, in another country/city, on a bus ride, or wherever else walking, and can only relate to one thing ~
Lawnmower
(A scene from the movie, Easy A
"I borrowed my neighbour's mower. I came right over."
Joey's Pizza
(Duh. Joey. Friends. Enough said.)
New Montgomery
(A Cinderella Story. Mrs. Montogomery. The evil stepmother.)
Coventry Motor Inn
(Duh again. The tiny city I lived in, once upon a time)

So many things that go unnoticed
and because humans don't prefer to think
No one ends up bothering

Casa Sanchez
~ a restaurant in L.A. which has the most awesome cheesecake ever!
It honestly reminded me of the scene from Friends when Chandler and Rachel hog on a whole cheesecake together!

Maturity
does not
have anything
to do with
Age
or
Time.
It comes with
experience,
exposure,
and willingness to think beyond the obvious.
Bas.

Uncertainty has its consequences
That feeling of not knowing, assuming some parts, leaving some to destiny, and knowing some
Somewhere along that process of reaching the finish line, there are consequences of your choices and decisions made, some that go unnoticed all together, and some that are visible clearly even later

"I can't adult today
Please don't make me adult"
*please picture a lazy pug lying around, while reading those two lines above*

When the temperature of your room is just about perfect for the dairy milk silk bar to be at its best

Ides of March
How that always brings back "Et tu Brute" in my head

Some songs will always brink back that one time in your life/one person/one situation/a group of people
No matter what you do, that memory ain't going anywhere

Rape. Rape. Rape.
What's beyond sad is that the world is getting used to hearing about it so often, that one is starting to overlook the seriousness of the damn cause.
"Rapists rape people, not outfits."
"Imagine if men were as disgusted with rape as they are with periods."

Patience
Nope, you just want the other person to have enough
Not yourself
#Irony

"It can be tough for a woman in the construction industry. I'm in charge of hiring the subcontractors - electricians, carpenters, roofers, plumbers. Those jobs are overwhelmingly male, so a lot of them don't like taking orders from a woman. They'll say 'yes' when I tell them to do something, but then they'll slack off when I'm not watching. So I've got to stay on point. I have to demonstrate that I know enough about all of their jobs to know when something isn't being done correctly."
- Words taken from another post of Humans of New York, because I can relate to this too much!

I miss being younger.
Life's become too serious. Reality, big decisions.
Makes me want escapism more.
I want the time when the matron used to say it's time to get up, and when we knew it's prep time, and when it's sports time, and then we're supposed to finish our freaking breakfast in 15 minutes.
I miss that precision.

When your morning begins with a long email from a wonderful soul :D

Ah, humans. Perpetually forming conclusions after hearing one side of every story. Lack of perceptiveness. Insensitivity. Zero courage to point fingers at yourself. The hatred for the species only grows.

The Giver
~ that thought provoking movie that shows a different side of the world, one that doesn't exist, yet
Whiplash
~ the word for the movie is crazy, since your passion starts to consume you and you don't even realize it, but brilliant acting
#Movies
(benefits of the longest flight)

"A word of encouragement after failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success."

No, you can't do whatever you feel like. Because being yourself a one hundred percent is not what's acceptable to people who don't matter in your life. Yes, you read that just right.
So much for irony, eh?

"We're so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us
that we don't take time to enjoy where we are."
- Calvin and Hobbes

The words ~
right, wrong, happiness, satisfaction
~ are all too subjective to be narrowed down to one single definition
Everyone has their own and they're all different to some degree!

It's not hard to say sorry
It takes just a moment of realization to be apologetic
But ofcourse if you're okay with your ego taking over, I have no words for you
Sucks how people value their ego more than their relationship with an individual

Like I'd mentioned in the last post, about Alan Powell's inspiring words in that interview
One really needs to hear that for reassurance and be themselves instead of being told they're over-thinking or some crap of that sort!

Your lack of faith in me is disturbing.

Your own mind plays games with you.

"To say a person is a happy person or an unhappy person is ridiculous. We are a thousand different kinds of people every hour."

Fresh starts
I don't think they can always do the trick

On some days, the only fairy tales that come true are the ones you see in movies, probably your favourite ones, the kinds you've seen over and over again

You're judging a book by its cover
By just looking at a situation, or noticing someone perform poorly for the first time; by merely predicting how a company is going to perform after having been a part of the company for the shortest while (probably days)
- These don't depict that you have a fairly good grasping power! It shows that you were reckless enough to not want to get into the depth of any of it, and therefore you jumped to a conclusion, once again, and failed yourself in the mind of someone observing you.

"I'm terrible at journaling. But I do it anyway, because I think that maybe one day I'll write something that I didn't know before, and suddenly it will all make sense."
- Words taken from a wonderful post of Humans of New York.

Sometimes, you don't get to choose things in your life
They're choices that have been made for you by someone else
This someone could be someone you know, could also be someone you don't (if at all that is possible), and then it could be an energy too (the faith you have in things that make your subconscious choose for the conscious you, you still staying oblivious to what the f**k happened)
It sucks that you're not fully aware of all the choices that are being made for you, in your life, sometimes.

You're hurt and you only wish to work things your way
But ofcourse that's not possible
Life would just be an easy path to walk on then
We'd forget it's something one aims to come out of, alive

Unexpected things always happen
Because if one could predict every single thing that's going to happen
Then what's the fun in that
Or may I say, what's the point if all the troubles that are going to come your way were already seen and acted upon before needed
(The things beyond control of the ordinary
and subjectivity in the definition of the word 'trouble')

A clip from the movie: 'The Song'
The movie I saw on the flight
(yes, not 'a' flight, 'the' flight, since the journey had taken a U turn)
The disappointment when you can't find a movie online, but I loved this part (the video)!
The music. And then Alan Powell's inspiring words in general, in an interview (taken by Conn Jackson)

It sucks that every individual has to go through so much in one lifetime

Emotions, feelings, humanity
Man, they sure can mess with one's world
And on that note,
"There is a price to be paid for every increase in consciousness. We cannot be more sensitive to pleasure without being more sensitive to pain."

Therapy.
Everyone needs it. Often.
Whether it's Uncle Chips and your favourite chocolate
Or listening to your favourite song on repeat
Or sleep
Or smoke a cigarette
Cry in the bathroom
Scream
Or a punching bag
Or listening to a kind of song, one plays on loud
Or going through old albums/diaries/stuff
Or vent to a human (in all probability your friend who's always been there)

When you listen to songs like
I Should Go by Levi Kreis
after really, really long...

When you can't be yourself with the people in your life, and cry or smile whenever you feel like, what the f**k is the point?

When a domestic servant at your house suddenly starts crying and pours her heart out to you
You feel a weight, but at the same time, there is a tiny amount of positivity, that you're there to make her say it all out so she could feel better
But you also feel helpless to an extent, although you did discuss the matter further, and would aim to help as much as possible

When something unusual happens
and you're unable to handle it
You're not sure how
but you're not able to breathe
You're getting choked, but oddly, you're keeping at it out of choice

When in a conversation with a friend,
and he wondered as to why he wasted all this time planning a room design and putting so much into it, when he could've easily hired a professional to do the same,
I figured, sometimes, you have to derive sense out of it
The very fact that he did put all that effort, and the room is done now, every time he'd look at a painting or a pattern, he'd be reminded of how he did it all by himself, and at that moment of realization, if he gets happiness by being able to relate to so much of it in that room, it's been worth it...

When someone reassures you more than the times you needed it

And,

"I feel very strongly that I'm surrounded by other realities. We don't really go that far into people, even when we think we do. We hardly ever go in and bring them out. We just stand at the jaws of the cave, and strike a match, and ask quickly if anybody's there."

"Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never a weakness."

"And in all those cruel, difficult moments I encountered, I always wished I would be a little kid again. Not because everything was easier when you were a child; not because you weren't responsible for anything including yourself; not even because life was much more simple, but simply because you had all the rights to scream, to shout, to cry your heart out whenever you felt like it without having anyone blaming you for not being strong:

You can wail the moment you feel that you miss or need anyone. You can scream when you're afraid. You can cry when you're left alone. You have all the rights to weep when it's your first day at school and you're alone and terrified from this sudden change that took place in your life.

If you're a kid, you won't have to fake a smile when your insides are burning just to seem strong and fine! Back then, you had all these rights - until they started telling you that you're a 'grown-up' now and you shouldn't be crying; that you should be strong and responsible; that you might be dying from inside but still you must manage to smile.

I just don't mind losing that 'grown-up' title if that's all I have to lose in order to regain my childhood life and my childhood rights again. I just wish it were possible. Because having to act as a grown up is very painful sometimes."

The universe loves to play funny

Sometimes, you've got to forgive in order to be forgiven.
#TheJudge

So,
The saddest part is when you have no choice but to not be yourself
That is the worst thing that could happen to someone, in my opinion
If the people you've known all your life, have become someone else
and they make you wanna not be yourself
Now that is when you want to escape

Listening to a track like, Who Needs You by The Orwells, on loud
and writing here at the same time

"Who are you to judge the life I live?
I know I'm not perfect
and I don't live to be
but before you start pointing fingers...
make sure your hands are clean!"

Yes, because these days, all people really want to do is point their freaking fingers
It sucks really
(the word, freaking, has been replaced by an abusive word I typed here originally)

So what matters is how PEOPLE may react or what they may feel..
instead of actually being concerned with how the one person being hurt actually feels
All I have is a slow applause for such humans with the broadest mindset ever
(that was sarcasm font, yes)

It's happened a lot with me, that when I've formed an average image about a situation in my head, and then it turned out to be above average.. It left me less disappointed.
It happens with everyone that you form a picture in your head of how it's all supposed to be, and when it doesn't turn out that way, that's what disappoints us, always. But I think it's another thing to be relatively less disappointed and that's important sometimes.

Why can't people just let others be?
Why are they under the impression that they have the freaking authority to control another person's life?
No, you don't have that kinda right. Stop making the other person feel claustrophobic with just your thoughts about how and which way the situation that he/she is handling, the situation that he/she is in.

Why are people imposing their choices on one another?
Everyone is different, and that has to be understood and respected!

The time when all you want to do is escape from that crowd and withdraw into your own shell.

Stephen Hawking.
He is the definition of the word inspiration.
That extraordinary human who one could learn endless things from.

The very fact that people around have become complacent with the idea that they know enough..
With the idea that what is chosen is right..
There is a big difference between knowing and accepting
Knowing there was more than one side to a situation
...and possibilities.

It sucks that one doesn't want to reason out these days
They're just absolutely okay with their freaking minds shut and accepting what is told to them

The recent electricity ad with kids in it:
Bijli Bachao, Desh Banao
Absolutely love it!

Which of these candies was your favourite from your Childhood?

I was absolutely shocked and didn't quite know what to say when a person born in the late, late 80s didn't know what they were
I mean, I honestly felt sorry.
But yes, apart from the above candies, these two were epic munchies! Love them still :)

So many things to perceive
Bollywood has a huge influence on the general masses, which is why it's very important for conceptual movies like these.

It is a hypothesis that things are going to be different in the coming time, which means that either they will be or they won't be.

The moments when you listen to your mother share some stories from her time
I consider myself fortunate enough to be able to be that ear who gets to hear all of it from her
The times when she woke up at the early, early hours of the morning

..just so inspiring at so many levels
Then again, there could never be a human like a mother. One person who draws unbelievable strength from I wonder where.

When you feed the dogs outside your house
The happiness is incomparable.

The improvement in Indian trains!

In one's weak/low moments, one wants to take a step back
and ask, why did you have to do that to me? Why me?
One wants to say it aloud..
In a discussion over Skype with a friend, something interesting was discovered.
People who've had their hearts broken
Never wanted to become people who would be scared of opening themselves infront of others
Never wanted to become people who would be scared to love
Never wanted to become people who wouldn't let their guard down easily...
But they became this weird version of themselves anyway, even when that's never who they wanted to be in the first place.

So, when there are things that have been on your mind all day and you still can't find a way to say it in words
Sometimes when you're with a friend at a new place, and just the right song plays, you're not sure what to think
Whether you're meant to feel like everything that you'd missed out on with this friend, will be caught up on since it had only been paused until now, or was it just meant to feel different
(I cannot recollect this or frame it better, since it had been saved in a draft post for far too long)

A city like Delhi, I'm not sure if I'm ever going to manage to develop a positive sentiment towards it.

"We will never be happy because our expectation of happiness is always evolving. And as we evolve, everything changes. Even the love we have now becomes something of yesterday and the anticipation of the things we desire tomorrow, are the things that fill our emptiness today.
And as we evolve, nothing stays the same. We will always want more, even if what we have now is enough. This is the destruction of being human. We create the illusion of happiness to make sense of the disappointments we have yet to live.
And sometimes we do find happiness. But even though, sometimes it is not meant to last forever and that within itself is a beautiful thing to evolve from."
- R.M.Drake

An advice;
Learn to look at yourself before pointing a finger at somebody else!
Irrespective of whether that person is older or younger to you, look at yourself first!

"It's not the obligation of the artist to censor viewpoints for the sake of agreeability and most of all, it's not your obligation to experience the artist's art."
"I can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to see in me."

"If you could love the wrong person that much, imagine how much you could love the right one."
"It is a hypothesis that the sun will rise tomorrow, and this means that we do not know whether it will rise."

"If money didn't exist, would you still chase your dreams?"

When you save a friend's ass and she didn't even have to say why, because you figured
That's the moment when you both laugh hard..and she gets back to what it was that she got caught for
Haha. I hadn't smiled like that since a while. That feeling of just knowing, and sharing an understanding like that with someone, that yes, I have your back and I always will. It's just really reassuring. And reassurance is just what you need sometimes these days.

"It's one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it's another thing to make a portrait of who they are."

Sometimes, you have to choose between what you can do and what you should do!
#SuchIsLife #Unpredictability #HumanBehaviour

When you see one losing the respect that he/she anyway never really had.. you see it happening. The other person's face tells you all of it. I'm not sure what to feel, sorry or indifferent. But it doesn't work like that. The defined choices that we keep in our heads in order to see things in black and white, doesn't work well, at least for those who have the ability to look beyond the obvious.

Hypocrisy at its best
#MentalityOfTheHumansAroundUs

The times when you're left with, 'I don't even know what to say'
When you're so damn hurt, that you prefer to not even talk about it this time
You realize you'd have to be fake for once in your life
You'd have to pretend to be someone you're not, in order for less bombardment of bizzare and nonsensical questions in your face

Sometimes, the people in your life make you question things you never thought you'd question

Whatever happened to entitlement to freedom of expression?

And for the love of God, you're not supposed to jump to conclusions by agreeing/disagreeing with every person's opinion that's shared with you. I mean, grow up?
No human is expected to agree with everybody's opinion. But respecting it is what's important.

"You will always be too much of something for someone: too big, too loud, too soft, too edgy. If you round out your edges, you lose your edge. Apologize for mistakes. Apologize for unintentionally hurting someone - profusely. But don't apologize for being who you are."
~ Have people forgotten this?
People need to be reminded of this from time to time!

When a person who's expressive all the time, but chooses to stay silent once in a while.. There is a reason behind it. You genuinely don't want to hurt the other person's sentiment and therefore, you talk when you're calmer.

I don't remember the last time I experienced so many emotions all in one day
It'll always be amusing how the human mind works and a mystery how it doesn't work at all in some gray areas
Not too sure whether I should say 'gray' really
#ThatDayWasANewLow

The point when you couldn't help but think what you'd do to make someone feel comfortable in an awkward situation where he/she doesn't know anybody in the group he/she has to stand amongst..
This is mainly because of your habit of making a conscious effort to go beyond just the obvious perspective of the other person
But, oops! Not everyone thinks like that, and not everyone wants to make that effort.
(Yes, we must try and look at the world like it's a beautiful place even when we see cruelty in different forms around us all the time.)

There's so much that's happened lately that I'm not sure where to start from, still

Why can't people learn to respect each other's opinions in general, instead of actually making the other person feel bad about their thoughts and how one processes their own?

It's so important to forget all your troubles for a little while. To stay in that bubble where everything seems okay, only until it's not.
It's important to watch your mother smile to old Hindi Bollywood music and understand the depth of momentary happiness.

"Life is a big fat gigantic stinking mess, that's the beauty of it, too."

Seriously, when will empathy go viral?
No one gives a shit about perspective
They're just absolutely okay with shoving their heads with what is told to them or for that matter, what has been known all along
Ugh, how much that pisses me off
Oblivion is one thing, and choosing to just go on about whatever it is that you've known so far, is another
You just don't have the freaking ability to make yourself want to know better
Man, learning is endless
Why on earth are so many people delusional that they've learned enough?
It makes me sad.

"So I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them."

And somehow, I still sense that being yourself isn't good enough. And you're not very welcomed.
Man, it's bloody sad that people don't encourage each other to be themselves.

'If I Stay'
The movie
The background music
Jamie Blackley's accent
The passion in two characters portrayed towards music
The hope
The promises made and kept
These are the kind of movies that take you into a bubble for a bit, and it's all different when you're in it.

What it says!

I think one's threshold of pain rises rather significantly when you undergo a situation you wish you hadn't dealt with all by yourself.

Why are we humans so insensitive man?
We don't give a tiny shit about the people around us. Forget making conscious efforts every now and then to actually help out a person even emotionally and be god damn perceptive about it!

Some people are the worst story tellers.
The worst part is when they're the only ones who make sure that their opinion is heard, you can't help but pull your hair apart in grief that the whole story has not just been poorly narrated to a bunch of people, but is full of baseless words.

What's the point of making the effort when you will be discouraged again? So much power in one person's hands deciding the future #Sucks

I sat in the shuttle and the first song that played was, Let Her Go
I mean, what timing!
The feeling of listening to a song you like/love, will always be different when you hear it in a moving vehicle.

So, the guaranteed way of hating a topic you genuinely liked to begin with: write 10,000 words on it. No kidding. And it sucks and is really unfair that there's so much power in one person's hands deciding the future. In short, your degree here pretty much depends on your luck of who your supervisor is. And that's it.

One can be so delusional looking at a really old picture saved in your phone, thinking, the relationship between the people in the photograph and the bond that existed at a point of time, is all still the same because that's how it's supposed to be.
But man, are we gullible or what?
I mean, I wonder how could I ever be that stupid to actually believe that things are the same and so are the closest people to you.

Happiness is a manner of travelling

You've gotta love what words can do

When you get long replies from someone you're really, really fond of, and have so much respect for in your heart
Oh, that can make your day and leave the biggest smile on your face, along with urging you to write here!

When someone has more faith in you than you have in yourself
That can keep you going, forever...

When you read a post by a stranger and it says,
"Very often Bombay rickshaw walas just restore my faith in humanity"
You think to yourself how true that is!

Ever come across something you can't fix?
Like you just can't.

When you can almost sense the happiness on the person's face you're on a call with, and you managed to make him/her happy with a tiny surprise that you got couriered for him/her!
The way that, that can race your heart and make you smile, with the thought of how the effort was all worth it, is incomparable!

The good thing about a picture is that you were happy in it even if you aren't now. So that state of mind almost crawls back in for a second.

At some point, you get so strong for the person you've been there for
That somewhere along that road, you started to actually become emotionally detached
So you never let anyone/anything hurt you, in order to avoid feeling the pain that it could cause by being compassionate
And because you kinda got good at keeping at it, all by yourself, you forgot the need to feel that pain that demanded to be felt
That's when a close one reminds you that it's okay to let your guard down for a while, and be hurt
Because the world can take it and because he/she can take it.

I guess I'll always be a sucker for happy endings...
#BleedingLove

Sometimes it's not about whether it should be done or not
It's not about whether it's the right thing to do or not
It's about acknowledging the other person's sentiment behind it
He/she is happy for your choice and decision anyway
But if there is something sour in that person's expressions
It's only because there is a hidden sentiment behind it
Something he/she expects you to understand and pay attention to
That acknowledgement is enough to assure him/her, so that the respect this person does have somewhere in his/her heart for you, never varies

When you'd questioned someone sometime back:
In conversation with a three year old,
Me: "Who is your best friend?"
She: "My best friends are my mom and dad."
That moved me beyond words that I could possibly find to write here
And I considered myself lucky that day, to get a chance to talk to that little girl.

When in a conversation with a friend,
Me: "Can you chuck this please?"
She: "You chuck it, I won't..
I don't like to let go of things"
Me: "DUDE!"

A day trip to Oxford
Thirty eight colleges under the University umbrella
As per our cute tour guide, one of the colleges had an admission criteria where each student was given one word as a topic, and you had to write on that one word, for three hours
...and there was more with regard to the statistics he'd mentioned as to how zero applicants made it through, one of these years

The crazy vibes that were all around which grew with just the thought of great minds studying in a brilliant University
(might elaborate further about the experience later)

Shabdon mein...

In life, you have to be strong for those who can't be
It's important to be there for them
They have their ways of doing things for you
Things you may never even get to know of, sometimes

Don't boost your ego by being with someone and hurting that person's feelings
Don't.

You have to stop beating yourself up sometimes
It's not wholly your fault
And as you go along, you'll realize that the combination of chance and circumstance had a role to play too

When you hear the whole set (1.5 hours) three times in a row and go bonkersss!

"If loving you kills me tonight, then I was ready for death the moment you said hello."
"and there were always those nights where she preferred the rain over people.
because the rain would remind her of how she should feel and people would remind her of the things she always wanted to forget."
"The worst thing you could do is tame the chaos in you. It's like being told not to feel when you're thrown in the fire."
- R.M. Drake

You're just stupid to fall into someone's trap again, someone who's already hurt you before
